Once upon a time there was a common boy, who dreamed of becoming a knight. His father was a knight, but not a successful one. He always fell asleep on the job. After his father was fired, the boy, now a man, was hired for his skill with a sword and shield. His archery needed some work but it was passable and the army was desperate for newcomers.
A few years later after becoming a knight, the Fairy King tried destroying the town in which the man lived in. All the knights ran away in fear, leaving the man alone in to confront the enemy. He fought and he fought until his strength ran out.
“You cannot defeat me!” the Fairy King said, “For I am a fairy! Now prepare to die!”
The Fairy King was moving in on the man at a fast pace. The man had no other choice but to use his archery skills that still had not improved over the years. He only had his bow and one arrow with him. Before the Fairy King could get close enough to swing his sword for the kill, the man shot the Fairy King in the ear. Instantly, the Fairy King’s body tumbled to the ground with the speed he was going at.
The townspeople, though surprised, praised the man after the enemy’s body came to a halt. Then, in the crowd, the man saw his true love. He walked to her as her eyes sparkled in excitement. He brought her chin up and kissed her lips as the crowd cheered even more.
And they lived happily ever after.
